The Smart Cities Innovation Challenge 2026 is organized to foster collaboration between innovators, startups, academia, industry, and public sector organizations in developing technology-driven solutions for urban challenges. The initiative aims to accelerate digital transformation, improve public services, enhance sustainability, and build resilient cities that offer a higher quality of life for citizens. The Smart Cities Innovation Challenge 2026 is a national innovation competition that brings together developers, startups, students, researchers, and technology professionals to solve real-world urban challenges through emerging technologies. Participants will design scalable solutions across urban mobility, waste management, citizen services, and smart infrastructure using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), GIS, Cloud Computing, APIs, and Data Analytics. The hackathon encourages innovation that improves urban efficiency, sustainability, and citizen experiences while shaping the future of connected cities.
