Everything you need to know about NABARD Rural TechHub and how to get started.

NABARD Rural TechHub is an innovation platform that connects agritech startups, researchers, and rural development stakeholders with data, APIs, and cohort programmes to build solutions for agriculture and rural India.

Startups, student teams, NGOs, and individual innovators working on agriculture, rural finance, or allied sectors can apply. Specific eligibility may vary by challenge or cohort—check each programme page for details.

Selected teams join a structured cohort with mentorship, technical workshops, and access to sandbox APIs. The programme runs in phases from onboarding through pilot deployment, with checkpoints and office hours along the way.

Participants can access curated datasets and sandbox APIs related to agriculture, weather, market prices, and rural credit—subject to usage policies and programme tier. Production access may require additional approval.

Some challenges and cohorts include seed grants or pilot funding for winning or graduating teams. Award amounts and criteria are published with each call; not every programme includes direct financial support.

Create an account on the platform, complete your profile, and submit an application through the active challenge or cohort page before the deadline. You will receive email updates on review status and next steps.
